A week to goo

Saturday/Sunday
heyoo these few days have beeen fine, just fine. didnt go edge cause sai hon chip came over to my place to chill out. Then i wenta ball and God knows what happened after that, cant remember a thing lol. Anyway wenta church the next day and i got called up onto the stage by pastor Salbam, darn i was treated like a foool... i had to like kneel down and catch a damn ball. then i had to intentionally drop it.. hheyyy man HELLLO?? im A BALLLER not sum 2 yr old infant hahaha. I SLAM DUNK okay i dunt drop balls like some kuku. Anyway then he made me stand a distance away and made me catch this long distance throw. Phew caught them all.. wud be pretty embarrassing droppin the ball haha like most ppl noe im a baller. Anyway then sam came over to my place after that for what ah? i think he just played some games then slept on my bed.. I hope he didnt drool or anythin lol. Then wenta ball with the usual peeps.


Today
Slacked at home till late afternoon whereby i went down to ball wif chippy and nick. ha won a few lost a few but on the whole, great exercise! but my knees are killin me.. i think i shud take a rest or sumthin. I can tell that my vert is deproving. And those kids on the court are growing man.. its like irritating.
Anyway i wenta my grand uncle's funeral ceremony after ballin.. man brought back memories of my own grand dad's wake. Well my grand uncle died at a ripe age of 94 la thats like bloody ho mia alr. Met some new peeps there and just chatted wif them hah never knew they were actually related to me. Cause im not that close with my mum's side of the fam those like my mum's cousin. Hmm then my sis drove my mum back by car while i took the "Dadmobile" with my dad haha. Cause my dad came from work so he didnt drive today. LOl kinda cool man love the breeze and great upclose kinda view and the bike like jerked alot and ppl in the streets were staring at us haha. i think my dad's like used to it lol. I just wish my sis could be as close to my dad as i am.. something's wrong with her, she needs God's love and that's that.

This has no doubt been the best christmas in my life lol. atleast im celebrating it for its true meaning and that is the celebration of christ's birth. ha it's been my greatest honour performing in the musical and I really bear no regrets even though i was a lil reluctant at first when judith kinda forced me lol. Gota know sum new peeps thru this experience and understand what we as christians can actually do to bring ppl to God. It was truly amazing when i saw quite a number of dudes and dudettes stepping upfront during the altar call. I'm just glad the whole musical went smooth, no mishaps nothin haha. Anyway due to my fatigue im jus gonna provide pics and let em do the talkin lol.

Classic man just like prehistoric times

Rejuvenised.

Life's been treating me well lately=)i attended youth encounter from friday to sat, and i feel totally refreshed by the Lord. Its like i got to repent for all the sins that i've done in the past=] With the past behind my head now, I guess life starts afresh ha, with new goals and purpose in life.
Anyway we had like several hours of lessons in a row but the think i like about this encounter is the fact that the dudes and dudettes in charged actually prayed specifically on issues like self-hatred, forgiveness, visions etc. So it was like the prayers were really powerful and realistic since they hit right on the mark.(if u noe what i mean haha)
Then on top of that, we had an awesome service after the encounter, whereby Rev Bob whiner came by to preach about his vision and how we should go about doing it. 6 months time double our congregration! WOW i think its possible if we all play our part.

As for today, i brought my parents to church mainly for 2 reasons

1. We were gonna proceed together to meet my dying 94 yr old grand uncle so might as well tag me to church.

2. And after attending yesterday's edge, i felt the message was really powerful and good and i thought my parents woulda like cming.

Anyway after service, we wenta visit my grand uncle. ha didnt really hang out wif him much cause he was kinda like a semi- distant relative.
But the only memory i had of him was Chinese new year.. When i was young, he would pinch my cheeks damn hard and then hand me an ang pao.. That was like the only memory i had of him haha. It was like an annual thing and yea he did it without fail.
Well i saw him on the bed today, reminded me so much of my own grand dad..aiya 94 years old quite blessed alr ..
Then after visiting him, wenta rehearsal and still have rehearsal tmrw...

wooo holidays ROCK!!!!!!!! not....
damn man its like the only thing i can think of to do is jam/ball/exercise...
Life's too short to occupy my time doing these 3 activities over and over again. WHat i need to do is venture out !! i need to perform live in the clubs of orchard, built a rep out there! but how do i go about doin that???? hmm

Ive been covering several songs on tube but not shiok la i want to perform live man..
haha speakin of which..
Last friday when i met saiful ahh haha i did sumthin pretty gutsy i wud say. Well saiful dared me to perform live at Block 10 Gm coffee shop there and he was willing to pay me 4 bucks. easy money right so after hesitating for awhile, i actually performed right at the middle of the coffee shop compound haha. Luckily no1 booed and some old dudes at the side actually applauded and cheered haha.

i think i wuda been damn embarrassed and demoralized had sum1 booed at that moment of time haha. well i performed unchained melody haha hopin that it'd appeal to the old dudes over there.well glad it did, easy money 4 bucks!

Anyway, i woke up today at like 11+. Then i wenta swim and came back at around 2. ate lunch wif chip then headed for the badminton court. damn yew choong.. couldnt contact him.. bloody handphone wif his sis.. he wasnt at home cause at grandma house.. and his grandma house engaged. Thankfully his mum helped me to call his grandma's hp or sumthin. Cause we booked the court there so u noe we gota reach there on time man. Then at 3.05 we met him while we were on our way to the CC. he just woke up damn it... he rushed to get his rackets and we headed to cc. Played badminton then balled after that. left pretty early.. im having some knee injuries heh. Went home and jammed wif chipmunk then i wenta nap till like 10+. and recorded the covers and yep now im like on msn chatting wif sum pals..
eh i hope tmrw'll be more 'happening' haha.

mannn i really wanted to go church camp... now i feel like a gooon while every1's like talkin bout it in church haha.. i hope they will organize it sumtime after my exams for next year.. but i doubt so, so i'll pray hah. Ever since Dorothy prompted me to speak in tongues and prayed alot bout it, i really feel different spiritually. Esp during praise and worship today, i started to feel this sense of regret for sinning in the past and i actually begged God for forgiveness. Well i really needa have a clear conscience and be guilt free before i can truly worship him u noe.
Edge was awesome as usual and then we wenta orchard after that. Hmm with carisser and her 2 pals, marko, reuben,zan, joyce and her pal and clement. i believed we wenta wisma.. im not too sure myself haha. i really wanted to go home to ball wif chipmunk but then marko kinda called me while i was on the bus and sumhow convinced me to tag along wif him. damn now come to think of it, i really regret how i behaved during our outing.. gahh and the way i teased sum1.... shit....yc shoulda told me earlier..hah
anyway wif that aside, we wenta get carisser's art stuff at taka then we headed to pepper lunch. love the foood tthere.. the cheese with the beef and the rice, great blend man. hmm then we zhao after dinner, wenta catch like 30 secs of live performance at sum local club before the announcer said: "alright this has come to the end of our session" asss! hah then we headed home. Met choon how, huan wei and yc after that at the playground. yea jammed wat else haaha. gota go, have church tmrw..

wooo im done wif exams! wudnt say i really studied that intensively this time round.. ha what can i say im a lazy ass. well ive got sum goals to accomplish during this 3 weeks =]

-Lose 9kg (very difficult but still possible)
-Cover several songs
-Record some tracks wif Shigga shay
-Hang out with long lost pals
-Master the musical song

yeap not very demanding hah i think i can atleast accomplish 3 outta 5 of em.

My mind's finally at rest, no worries no woes! hah well atleast until i get back my results lol.

Well i didnt attend net last friday, was studyin.. then on sat there was edge. quite a number of qss peeps turned up. well they're quite a fun bunch hah, prankin each other like theres no tmrw haha. Then we wenta vivo and yea ate chatted and met shuwen. hah i met her online thru faisal and it was quite interesting how our convo began, it was like a war zone haha. well that's another story..
Faisal was being a bastard(in a good way) that day haha, he was like high or sumthin lol. Damn wanan jam wif him soon, heard he plays the guit. Then on sunday, i went for sum after service rehearsal and practised my role as joseaph. darn man its hard to carry a bag and pretend that its a baby. CAnt even tell where's the head! so i looked like a goof and yea ppl laughed at meh what the heck man lol. Gonna go for rehearsal later..
I feel a certain emptiness lately hmm strange.
Well anyway g2g sleep now im friggin shagggg. thanks to AEL..

2.12am

okay 1 week left to study... THEN PARTAY !!HAH
havent been really happening these days. been slightly distant away from my poly friends.. they hide too much and i feel shoved really sumtimes. cmon every1 noes the roots of a friendship is trust and i guess thats wat i lack of to them or sumthin. well anyway had 4 tests this week and its been really tough coping.. bahh well atleast the lessons were fun ha jokin around all the time. balled with the dudes on friday as usual then i wenta NP outreach. ha VFC invaded NP. lol so many familiar faces appeared including jeremy seaward! acoustic worship was awesome and the skit was really some show man! ha didnt stay back for the snacks (lol suprisingly) and wenta meet our net group at starbucks. I really see charis as a net leader in the near future, she's got wat it takes haha. Dined at BK and just had a great time fellowshiping with churchy ppl.

Then on Sat, no edge! started off with swimming wif chipmunk. crazy lap swimming i was like damn zhai that day. i was racing with this ang moh dude although he didnt realize i was racing with him lol. just wanted to pace with some1 ha. Then got sum coachin from gabriel LEo, sum math genius and he taught me alot bought chapter 4 EG2! dang the stupid Eg2 tutorial im glad she didnt ring me up for my absence ha.
Wenta shana's party later in the evening. so few appeared but owell who cares the chcolate puff thing was really palatable and addictive! ha David ten, sam and I finished the remaining 12 pieces! bought sum cute shoe and hat for her, shared with sam and carisser.

I felt like a bloody mugger today. i kept constantly borrowing cash from jon cause i didnt bring enough cash to church. okay so now i owe him 20 bucks... after church, wenta lunch at mac and tried this double mcspicy double thing. friggin delicious!
then sembawang.. waited so long for them haha. almost chased away by sum church ppl as well paiseh sia. cause we were like camping in one of the vacant rooms sitting on those lil infant chairs..haha
Wenta for rehearsal and it was great. Oh my.. and sister Dorothy is darn talented! she composed this beautiful song in just one night and i tell ya it has one of the most melodious melodies ive ever heard thus far! Im really glad i can be part of this musical=) hope i dunt screw up tho ha. then wenta eat at sun plaza woo great food=] after that i trained home wif jon and we both fell asleepp.. i woke up and the station stopped at bukit gombak. darn i thot we were suppose to stop at a stop just before bukit gombak or sumthing so i was like,"Jon QUick get off the train! we gotta head back!" we got off the train and then waited for like 5 mins at the seats..then i was like:"bukit gombak? thats strange..." wenta chiong to the directory and realized we were suppose to stop at jurong east which was like 2 stops after bukit gombak! bodo sia... ha jon was like cursing me. Stressed weeek man strange things happen.
Reached home some time after then my mum decided to order pizza so why not heh?
after that wenta ball and they had sum lion dance exhibition beside the court haha.
and im home now blogging like sum nut head. darn my phone is like screwed up, water entered my phone and i cant press certain numbers! hah shudnt have replied when i was at the wash room!! i hope my fone recovers...

As the exams draw closer, im beginning to panic a lil. havent even start proper intensed revision yet. 9 dec it starts thts like 2 weeks or sumthing.
ha went for edge, worship was great and so was the message=] chated wif katherine on the trip back. rarely do lol, seems like we've got quite alot to talk about lol. Music, gossip girls haha wdf.
mark was having a weird mood swing , jon was just listening to his mp3 and reuben was just 'there' ha okay then i wenta dine at home while the rest wenta eat sumwhere in GM.

Sunday
On Sunday, i wenta Coos instead of VFC cause my aunt was getting baptised. ha im quite suprised she got baptised, she was never too close with the lord. I guess months after i had left Coos, alota of things had changed. It was great meeting my 'Lai' side relatives once again ha gonna have a christmas party at Auntie pauline's house this year haaha cant wait.

after coos, i rushed back home to meet jin and faizal. wenta sembawang with them for sum studio thing. yo man Ezekiel got sum mad skills haha. his voice is really heavenly, so smooth and clean. Sumtimes i wish i cud get rid of the roughness in my voice arghh then i can probably start singing R and B.
Well i left early as i had a bball match wif Qss although their leader is overseas in sum vietnam trip haha.
PLayed quite afew matches and zhao home.

Monday

aiya monday always the same, but thank God im done with IAC module so i getta go sch at 1pm!! ha so just slack during COMMT and talked with debbie a lil more about her life, very interesting yet chaotic lol.
okay then i went home with Jon and spent the day jamming with choon how LOL. tryiing to figure out new solos for sum mcfly songs lol.

Tuesday
Today was dreadful man. I fergot i had a EG2 test(hha nicki was supposed to remind every1 but didnt haha) and spent last night studying AEL!! arghh. So i was like 'wdf' man how am i gonna last min study! wenta borrow jon's book cause i left my book at home.. how worse could this day be... then also didnt bring DEL.. nvm luckily i copied notes on Foolscap. then we didnt have compro cause... heck la fergot why the ah peh never come. ok then wenta EG2 tutorial for the test. OMg so hard, GG. not gossip girls but GOOD GAME. speaking of which, there's gossip girls tonight(S2 Ep12) ha but im only gona watch it after studying eg2..
so then after the break, we wenta AEL lesson. Wassup with my group man, they are like machines! well i wished they were made in Singapore cause i cudnt understand a shit they said in mandarin haha! well atleast i contributed to my group by translating their questions to english then by helping to ask the teacher. lol they had problems with English and that's all that i cud provide lol.
then came DEL, haha lOOOK my DEL TEACHER CARTOON LOL. he has a DIODE ON HIS FACE!!


lol damn funny myanmar ppl. cause in binary code, most of the answers are either 1 or 0. so those super enthu myanmar ppl will shout out:"WANK!(one) WANK(one)!" when attempting to answer a question LOL. love their funny accent reminds me of the sound u get when u bend a string in an electric guitar haha.
Then lesson ended damn early, it was like the DEL teacher just abruptly said:"Aiya Tired! okay go back orey" when he saw a new complicated question. LOl then i went home wif Jia hui, jon, leslie and YC. then wenta nap and yea and im half naked blogging now. okay byeee hoes!!!

Today was COOOL MAN. played bball with my classmates then wenta meet Jin at the convetion centre. haha seems like he's a big hit in his group. his group members were like cheering him to rap haha. Not long after, he rapped infront of like 25 people ha taking the house down as always =] Then sum of them started to say that i cud sing then its like a small group gathered at the corner and heard me sing a lil tune of 'When u say nothing at all' lol.



then after that i crashed Zouk hehe.Cause the partying was actually only allowed for camp red members but i sumhow got a ticket from jin lol. was kinda bored at firrst cause i lost jin's friends sumwhere in the crowd. i was dancing on my own until some spontaneous peeps wenta dance with me. LOl from nowhere 5 girls surrounded me and started dancing. What was I? sum dancing tool or somethin. anyway i jus danced a lil wif them and walked away to the front. Then i finally found jin and the rest, danced wif them and sang to sum of the songs.
HAHA i had a great time today man!!!

Man alota happen this few days... and Jin's really quite a fella i tell ya. I wanna go for the trip but my parents are quarreling like boars(over the cost). well i guess i gota do wat i gota do and that is drop the trip. Many thanks to jin. Respect man.

Daddy can i borrow 25 dollars?

A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.

SON: 'Daddy, may I ask you a question?'

DAD: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the man.

SON: 'Daddy, how much do you make an hour?'

DAD: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a th! ing?' the man said angrily.

SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?'

DAD: 'If you must know, I make $50 an hour.'

SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down.

SON: 'Daddy, may I please borrow $25?'

The father was furious, 'If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities.'

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.

The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?

After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down , and started to think:

Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $25.00 and he really didn't ask for money very ! often The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.

'Are you asleep, son?' He asked.

'No daddy, I'm awake,' replied the boy.

'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the man. 'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $25 you asked for.'

The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you daddy!' he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.

The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.

The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.

'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the father grumbled.

'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied.

'Daddy, I have $50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.'

The father was crushed. He put his arms around his litt! le son, and he begged for his forgiveness.

It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $50 worth of your time with someone you love.

If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.

Didnt go swimming cause i wenta cut my hair. heyyyy Nooo badd right my hair kinda reminds me of how i looked like back in sec school. and the auntie there taught me how to style so atleast now i dunt needa spend much time wreckin my hair up.
Went edge and met reuben, marko, manda, andrea and andre at clementi. The bus trip was all about GG. lol the show rocks i gotta say, hey man its not an everyday thing when daryl lai says a show rocks u noe. altho sumtimes u can really hate sum of the characters, the story line's actually pretty good.
anyway so we just whack our mouths all the way to yishun. haha then i sat beside the tallest girl in our youth, the mother of all giants, andrea haha. Somehow i am actually her mother now or sumthing? just cause i used her bag as my arm rest thruout the whole service haha. troublesome woman she is, had to take out her water bottle, sweets and other stuff on and off throughout the service and everytime i opened a bag, an irritaitng 'ripping' sound effect would be released so its like every1 who sat infront of me turned back, red faced duh. ha then when i talked wif marko, manda had to like stretch her neck to listen to our convo haha, KPO lol.
After edge, i wenta city hall to meet up wif my sec school pals while the rest went to town. haha had fun wif my buddies as well =]Just toook loadsa pics and wenta dine with them and hang out at marina there. haha we wanted to play 2 wild games. 1. Boiling point: we were gonna irritate ppl for 5 mins and give them 2 bucks if they survive the 2 mins wifout getting pissed haha and i cant mention the other wild game haha pai seh ! But we didnt play any cause the bus service was already about to be closed. so we just went back home=(
